The curve of the hand-forged batwing hoe allows you to strategically move the blade to get just the spot you need without having to displace a large amount of soil, like you do with the straight box edge of the standard American Hoe. The batwing shape allows dirt to fall over the top of the hoe blade without building up behind the head.

Made of American cutlery grade Carbon 1075 steel and sustainably harvested American Hardwood handles. With proper care, these tools will last a lifetime.

We are testing flat rate shipping to avoid our customers having to get a 2nd invoice for shipping. Shipping long handle tools is very expensive. However, when we go into the post office and buy shipping, it is cheaper than allowing the system to calculate shipping (sometimes by $10 per order). We've gathered data from each state for the last 2 years and done our best to be fair with flat rate shipping zones. If we get to the post office and your order is much cheaper to ship, we will refund the difference. If you do not live in the U.S., we can not ship to you. Remember, "free shipping" is a marketing technique and means everyone pays more. There is no such thing as free shipping.
